From curtains to cushion covers

When we had our rabbit Anya, we used a pair of curtains to cover the bed so she could run around on it without damaging the bed linen. The curtains became quite torn but I'd always intended to used what fabric I could salvage from them to make something. Finally I got round to it and made two of these cushion covers:
