Edinburgh based blogger, Juliet Wilson is a writer, conservation volunteer and adult education tutor (teaching creative writing and leading guided walks) . She has been blogging as Crafty Green Poet since September 2005.
Her first poetry chapbook Bougainvillea Dancing raised money for charities working in Malawi. Her second chapbook Unthinkable Skies was published in 2010 by Calder Wood Press. A selection of the poems from Unthinkable Skies is also available as a CD with musical accompaniment from Edinburgh musical project Belvedere Mountain Express.
Juliet has had haiku, longer poems and short stories published online (see the links on the Publications page on this blog) and in UK and USA journals. Some of her poems have been set to music, carved into benches and baked into cupcakes. She has read her poetry and short stories at various venues in Edinburgh and beyond.
Juliet is available for readings and as a workshop tutor (on topics including nature studies, creative writing and social media).
Juliet has two Etsy shops, Crafty Green Poet, where she sells her handmade crafts and Crafty Green Magpie where she sells vintage items and craft supplies.
