Beautiful aren't they! Some lovely cordial to be had there, although to be honest I'm a bit dubious about the new middle class foraging movement

Did you have any luck identifying those flowers, was it Firethorn? I think elder flowers look similar to the flowers on the Firethorn however the Firethorn is rather unpleasant smelling unlike the elder.

Hi Simon, yes I'm also a bit dubious about the middle class foraging movement. Though I do pick raspberries and blackberries in season and have occasionally foraged mushrooms.

Ian, it's elder, definitely

My fault I got my wires crossed, it was another blogger who was trying to identify something similar to elder.
