latest chopstick bag

Chopstick bags are proving to be by far the most popular things in the Crafty Green Poet Etsy shop. So, I'm making a few more over the next few weeks.

I just added this green floral chopstick bag to my Etsy shop.

These bags offer an ideal way to carry around a pair of re-usable chopsticks so you can avoid using the disposable ones that are the usual cutlery choice in many Chinese restaurants. (Many disposable chopsticks are made from the products of forest destruction, though to be fair some are made from waste wood from the construction industry).

As ever, red text contains hyperlinks that take you to other webpages where you can find out more.

I'm copying and pasting your post on my Facebook page. That's a beautiful pair of chopsticks you've got there. I don't know how to use them myself but hey, I bet some of my friends do! :-)

Greetings from London.

Thanks Cuban, the chopsticks aren't for sale, though....

I was obviously absent from school the day they taught chopstick technique. Despite many, many attempts at learning, I am a failure at it. I don't have good use of my thumbs due to nerve damage. That's probably it.

Cuban, Maureen - i think the trick to using chopsticks is to eat from a bowl held close to the mouth and stuff the food into your mouth.

I was obviously absent from school 50 years ago when chopstick techniques was being taught. Despite concerted effort over the years, I have not become proficient. I have nerve damage in my thumbs, wonder if that's it? I love Vietnamese pho, but, alas, it is a fork for me. Ah well...

Hey Juliet, sorry for the double comment. It didn't look like the first one went through. Problem with bowl near mouth and poor chopstick technique -I'd probably poke my eye out! LOL!

Hi Maureen - yes, I can see that being a problem!

Chop sticks .. yes. Well, being a fork-in-the-Chinese-restaurant type, the bag would stay clean!
