Haiku - containers

bottles now empty
once full of milk, wine, beer, oil –
recycle please!

secret dumping ground
for containers marked danger –
unexplained deaths.

containers - for One Deep Breath.

I like both of your poems. Two things we should be thinking a lot about.

Containers once filled and useful, now lonely and a little sad; toxic wastes buried secretly underground, a plea for recycling - I love every word of this.

this is a slant on the topic I hadn't thought of - but a very timely message

Frightening to know that we have secret dumping grounds on the planet. Love your environmental messages.

I have a massive container of once useful containers demanding recycling action right now. Putting this idea so close to the idea of toxic waste makes me feel a little guilty that there's such a mountain of waste in my recycling box. Global footprints and all that.
