We've seen signs of Spring over the past few weeks, but this week it has really felt like Spring at last. We had a lovely walk round Arthur's Seat today. Early on, the air was slightly misty, which made for atmospheric views.
Later the sun came full outSaturday, 8 March 2025

What a beautiful description of your walk around Arthur's Seat! It sounds like the perfect way to experience the change of seasons. The misty morning must have given everything a mysterious, almost magical feel before the sun came out to brighten the landscape. It's interesting to hear about the changes you've noticed over time, like the decrease in the number of Grey Heron nests. I’m sure it’s still lovely to watch the wildlife that remains, especially the Jackdaws. It’s always nice to take a moment to connect with nature and reflect on these subtle shifts. And looking for frogspawn at Dunsapie Loch sounds like a peaceful way to welcome spring!
I hope you are having a great weekend. You are invited to read my new post: https://www.melodyjacob.com/2025/03/the-breathtaking-adventures-we-had-in-glencoe.html Thank you!
What a beautiful way to welcome spring! Arthur’s Seat must have looked stunning with the mist adding that extra touch of magic. The gorse in bloom must be such a sight! It’s interesting (and a little sad) to hear about the decline in Grey Heron nests—I wonder what’s caused the numbers to drop. Hopefully, the frogspawn will appear soon!

Thank you!
Arthur's Seat is a beautiful place, thanks for sharing the photos.
Hi Melody, thanks for your comments. Blogger still sends all your comments to the spam folder I don't know why and when I tried to comment on your beautiful photos of Glencoe, I wasn't able to sign into your blog, so had to leave an 'anonymous' comment. Hope you got it okay.
Hi Jeff, it certainly is!
