A couple of plants appeared in my garden this year, was most baffled by them to start with
Beautiful -- we have the silver dollar plant here -- might be the same thing.

Hi everyone, thanks for your comments. Sallie, I think it is the same as the silver dollar plant, i know it's also called the money plant.
I had this in my garden many years ago. Strange how a person forgot about something they like until they see it again.
Not much can be hidden inside those seed pods. Nice photo.
