pussy willow catkins burst

Just lovely.
Sorry about weird comment on your last post. I fell asleep while writing it and I think Josephine walked over the keyboard. Or maybe I walked over it. Yikes!
Anyway, no pussy willows around here anymore and I really miss them. I would always rub their grey furry selves against my bottom lip when I was a kid to feel their softness.

It will be weeks before we see any pussy willows here. Terrible winter this year with so much snow. Thanks for posting the photo and lovely haiku. They give me hope that spring will come.
