Puff Balls and a Slug

I walked through Colinton and Craiglockart Dells today, along the Water of Leith, picking litter and recording wildlife as I generally do once a week. It's been very wet recently, the river is high and the slugs seem to be enjoying the dampness! I think the slug below is the red form of the Black Slug, but am willing to be proven wrong (so if you have a different ID for it, let me know in the comments!).

I was very pleased to see these Puff Ball fungi

If raindrops fall on them, or if an animal steps on them, their spores escape through the holes you can see in each puff ball.
