spring haiku

dew covered fields -
a stoat in ermine
bounces past

putting words
to the chaffinch's song -
ginger beer

I'm always learning something here. I never had heard of a "stoat". Now I know a good bit about them - cute, but rather effective in bringing dinner home, too!
