Taken last weekend along the Water of Leith near the Gallery of Modern Art.
.
The snow has mostly melted now, it's almost warm and I heard a blackbird singing this morning. More like practising, really, but still, a wonderful sound.

Hi Juliet - Thank you for visiting my blog and commenting on my Camera Critters.
I have been looking at some of your posts and I see winter has covered Edinburgh in ice. It looks lovely in photos but must be difficult in reality.
The only time I ever saw Edinburgh was for a week in August of 1996, with wonderful weather.

Hello and happy New Year!
These are like a poem, I especially like the second one with the lights. Superb!
J'aime bien l'impressionnisme de la dernière.

These are great. They remind me of the shots that I took during my walk the other day.
Your reflections are quite beautiful with the snow!

Great icy reflections!
Un peu d'or dans beaucoup de blanc ... Très beau contraste sur la 2e image !
A cold and snowy scene graced by a few lovely words. Nice post.
Icy refections, just perfect. The ducks, bonus.
I very much like the whites, golds and silvers that shimmer in these photos!
Beautiful wintery series. I like the glittery colours.
I love your photos! The water looks like frozen, making the reflections very clear!
I like the feeling of solitude these generate within me. Nice!
Enjoy your weekend.
Wow, what beautiful reflections! I really like the one with the pastel lights in the background. Very nice!
Redwings are just slowly starting to warm up their pipes here too!
Beautiful wintry reflections. I especially like the bottom photo.
The reflection expresses the fantastic beauty.
