I've just discovered Windsite - a lovely new site that combines personal observations of the wind alongside the meterological data for the time and place of the observations. Have a read of it, and share your own observations!

This makes me realise how I usually notice the wind when it is blustery/stormy/destructive. But tend not to think as much about it when it's calmer. Thanks for encouraging me to notice!

I've never thought of Edinburgh as a windy city.
A windsite seems interesting, but here, our to site is Geonet - the New Zealand site that measures earthquakes and other geological events - we have been very busy checking on all the aftershocks in the last five months!
