Your blog has gone green! Two very good sleeping poems. The second one reminds me of my grandsons at day's end.
HI Sandy - well i thought it was time the look matched the content!
"Singing dawn chorus" was a very lovely line and what a terrific way to sleep deep.
These were just lovely.
I really feel the second one. Fresh air and the great outdoors always inspire good sleep.
I like the new look, Juliet! Yes, some fresh air alway makes for a better night's rest- very nice!
I can't believe it has been so long that I missed the change in your blog design. I like it. The photos of the walk are beautiful. I would sleep easily after that.
Thanks for all your comments! Jone and Regina - glad you like the new blog design. I think I'll stick with this one now, just change to a different shade of green every so often.
Jone - glad yo liked the photos - it was a lvely walk.
Regina, Jem - yes lots of fresh air definitely equal a good nights sleep!
I especially love your second poem. It makes me think of my children and myself. A hard day's "work" -- whatever it is -- makes for good sleep.
i love to be 'woken gently by birds / singing dawn chorus' - lovely haiku! your walk along the (brilliantly named!) River Almond sounded fantastic too.
I love these! They say so much, so simply. I have been covering my head with my pillow due to the loud bird song in the morning...maybe I should get up and meditate instead ;-)
Juliet,
Refreshing outdoor exercise along a scenic byway to bring pleasant exhaustion to the bed and awakening to the natural music of the birds. It really doesn't get more perfect. ;-)
rel
How I need sleep right now!
I like the green efffect of your blog.
Good idea to get that walk in. Like the new look of the blog.
I especially liked being woken gently by birds singing at dawn. I'm usually up around dawn and look forward to such a chorus.
I prefer essay writing help for writing an explanatory essay, but tour haiku is so exciting! Mane thanks.
