haiku for the Earth

ancient mountains
reflect in glacial lake –
endless blue skies

green lands and blue seas
veiled in wisps of white clouds –
our unique planet

Physical and temporal longevity in the first haiku. Which is nice.

These two are gems; very lovely. The first reminds me of the photos our son brought back from Alaska last July.

Lovely, truly lovely. They conjure in me such pictures. And they feel so hopeful.

Thanks for all your comments! Regina and quietpaths It's nice that they've reminded you of places that I've never been to!
Jemima, Becoming Amethyst - longevity, endless - it would be nice to think so...
tinker - actually we could do with more crisp air in the room where I'm sitting!
trugent - I love the blue of the skies too!
Brian - vanishing, sadly too true.

Giggles - perspective? Thanks!
