Spring?

It was snowing yesterday and was very cold. Today is warmer but there is still some snow around. Lovely to see wild garlic showing well in Colinton Dell (by the Water of Leith) today, some of it poking through the snow.

Also lovely to see the first celandines of the year, growing in a less snowy part of the Dells

Lots of birds singing too.....

I saw my first Celandines on Sunday ... looks like are local climates are much in tandem!

... though, of course, it could be that your powers of observation are more finely tuned than mine!

Snow last night, warm today, more snow tomorrow. If I see any buds I cry, "Get back, you fools!"

It's always so lovely to see signs of spring like that. I was in a warmer US climate over the weekend and saw telltale signs - daffodils and pollen.

As I read this, it's pouring beautiful snow outside my window :)

hope it warms up for you soon - lovely photos - we have just gone into Autumn and there is a heatwave happening (hotter than it was in summer this week)
