Now I am imagining a child eating the berriesdirectly from the bush, getting all smeared and smiling a partially toothless impish smile.

I dont know how to do that link thing either, never works for me!
I like yours, reminds me of childhood days picking blackberries in the woods.

It's the best way to eat them, nicely done! (BTW if you email me at johemmant@gmail.com, I will send you the foolproof link stuff (you just need to copy and paste different text in each week). Between Roswila and Tumblewords, I eventually figured it out.)

Berries and juicy chins; our common human heritage, great.
If I understood the instruction correctly we could simply type the whole haiku in the comments with or without a permalink. No?

brian, liza, tumblewords, polona, roswila - thanks

ron - yes indeed, but by adding a permalink you encourage people to visit your blog!

I enjoyed one juicy, perfectly formed blackberry this summer. Thinking about it makes my mouth water. Hope the bush produces many more next year.

I get mine from Tesco or
Sainsburys or Waitrose, but

Are they just now coming in there? Our blackberry harvest is at the beginning of July here on Planet Georgia. I got about a gallon & a half from the various stands on the grounds, and we have plenty of jelly & jam for the winter...

Mmmm. Sun-warmed berries right off the bush. Lovely image.

Farfetched - no this one isn't as seasonal as I usually try to make them. But it was what came to mind!

Bill - nice ku thanks!

Sandy, quietpaths, ann, rae - thanks!

I love the blackberries and the thought of them just dribbling down the chins. Nice!
