simply beautiful!
So many sights and sounds of a gentle peaceful time.
Well done. I especially like 'rising moon ...'
Rocked me gently.
Your poems bring back memories, especially of cicadas singing when I was a little girl.
Juliet,
I love this pic.

The second one is amazing! I'm still moonstruck!
A beautiful cycle of a day... just lovely...
Lovely group of haiku.
"Dusk haunts
the garden-
honeysuckle." ~just gorgeous!
These are so good, every one of them! Great images.
I particularly love the "rising moon caught in empty black branches."
All are gorgeous, and paint a perfect image of twilight.
Lovely. My favorites are the second and last ones, especially the texture of "blue velvet sky" behind the black branches. And the cicadas after sunset. Wow.
I love the sounds and the smells this reminds me of!! very nice! Hugs Linda
That is one fantastic haiku for each season, isn't it? I love the honeysuckle one best; it's haunting me now.
I loved the image of the moon caught in black branches. You are really talented at poetry of all types!
that moon just keeps calling and drawing us to watch and dream
These are all wonderful but the second is most wonderful. It creates such a picture in my mind.
Each one is stunning. I love the use of the senses. I can smell the honeysuckle and her the cicadas.
Wonderful haiku that stimulate the senses.
Wonderful images! I really like that. Particularly the honeysuckle one! Fantastic!

Always a favorite sight to see - thank you for showing me how to connect the dots - I never thought before of the moon as being captured by the branches - I love it!
(with apologies for my lateness in getting caught up with everyone's haiku this week)
Thanks for all your comments. Don't worry about being late, neasa - since putting the labels on my blog, I've just had a comment on a haiku I posted over a year ago!
