Winter Wonderland in the Dells

It's beautiful in Craiglockart Dell at the moment

these next two photos are taken from inside one of the grottos in the Dells. The grottos were built originally as a place for women to rest while the men in the party went hunting.

Unfortunately though it's very beautiful out there, the snow has compacted and is seriously slippery and potentially dangerous to walk on.

Hi Sandy do you mean the 2nd photo? That's beech leaves! But yes we have snow on flowers, a few posts back I shared photos of snow on gorse flowers

Take care walking Juliet, slip and falls are not fun.

I hope you have a good week,😊

I would rather sit in the grotto than go hunting anytime -- or even walking in those icy conditions. I hope you get some Spring soon.

Our electrical power has returned after these days of storm; grand photos of that grotto, and its ideals, Juliet_!
__ The gripers, that faced "their single hardness of life"; are those Whiner Wimps! Kathy and I just plucked the strings of the harps we had, our prepared tools, and smiled our way through! _m

to look out

The grandchildren enjoyed the snow, it was good to see them having fun.
