Yours and Bill's go so well together. You make me think of the joy of spring and listening to birdsong again after a long winter.

As long as it's during daylight hours, I will open the window. Here in California, the mockingbirds don't know day from night, and they do mock.
wonderful Haiku

thanks Bill!

Thanks Sarala - yes it is nice to hear again after a log winter

Deb - evening too, yes

Rabbits Guy - ours don't have the red wings and our redwings aren't black....

Dianne - that could be annoying!

I'm enjoying watching the blackbirds at the moment. Males are chasing other males off their patch, and a pair are guarding and nurturing their nest, and hopefully offspring, in the hedge. To hear a blackbird sing always brings a smile to my face. x
