Wild garlic

Colinton Dell by the Water of Leith is carpeted in wild garlic now and smells, in fact, of garlic too!

Wild garlic! How pretty! Can you eat it? Or harvest it?? - www.domesticgeekgirl.com

Hi Gingi, yes you can eat it, though because of the large numbers of dogs that go for walkies round Colinton dell, you have to wash it very carefully first! It makes a lovely pesto though

How handy would that be if you can use it...
