Weekend Reflections on Linlithgow Loch

Here are two photos of different reflections from last weekend's visit to Linlithgow Loch.

Thanks Crafty Green Boyfriend for this photo of a male tufted duck in full breeding plumage complete with a magnificent tuft on his head!

Good to see another Haiku, Juliet - it sent a shiver down my spine.

The two photos are magnificent - love them both for quality of reflected light and the details on the duck.

The photos are beautiful. I love pictures of reflections and am always intrigued by what is different between the real and the reflection. The haiku is so appropriate. Often here, winter storms take down older trees and clean up is necessary.

I love the ripples of water behind the duck. So neat.

Whenever you mention Linlithgow, I'm reminded of the multi-talented John Lithgow. Although I love him in his movies and TV series "Third Rock from the Sun", I think I'm most fond
of his DVD called "Singing in the Bathtub". If you ever get a chance to listen, it's a delight.

Love the texture and its reflection in the first photo. The duck is fine too.

Oops, "Singing in the Bathtub" is a CD, not a DVD!
