Cat on the Prowl

The cat looked very embarrassed when it saw how many people had gathered to witness its humiliating failure to catch the woodpigeon....

Ha the bird lives to tell another tale. My cat once left 5 birds on my drive one morning, I was gutted to see them. They were mainly male and female house sparrows. I'm not a great cat lover but he came to live with us one day because his previous lodgers didn't want him anymore and it was a cold winter that year.

Brilliant. She does look very well fed, without the pigeon!

Cute photos, but what imppressed me the most is how the very worn wall, especially in the third photo, looks like Monet's "Water-Lilies"!

The topmost picture is just too cute.
I'm glad the bird got away. House cats are ferocious predators of wild birds. I love my cats but they stay in the house.

Nice series of photos and great that the bird got away. Cats should always be kept inside at all times.

Oh, that's fabulous! A story in three pictures.

Happy New Year, and we're planning our seed planting right now (technical drawings for new garden layout by T2 currently in progress).

Given the logic of some commentators, humans should be kept indoors at all times, as we are the greatest danger to most types of animals.

Captain Shagrat - always sad to see the birds killed by cats,

P.M.Doolan - yes good point, we're the most dmaging species...
