the first song this year
from the song-thrush.

Beautiful images. I've seen a Song Thrush in the garden, but not heard it yet.

The thrush looks like ours. I see them in the woods, but until now, had not heard the song up close.

Two lovely views of the changing seasons.

Beautiful images Juliet.

What kind of haiku could you write for all the vulchers that have been showing up in my yard??? Today there were 9! They pluck fish from the pond. I have lived here for over 9 years and have never seen this before. The other day there were 2 vulchers and a cat on the neighbors fence! What a sight that was!

A crow preening on a chimney pot is both beautiful and whimsical - I love it!

Sweet little gems--your poems. Thank you for linking to the Song Thrush too.
