I'm delighted that Blithe Spirit, the Journal of the British Haiku Society has just accepted six of my haiku for their next issue! This is one they rejected!
Congrats on the accepted work and thanks for sharing this haiku. It reminds me a bit of one I wrote not long ago when thinking about our changing global environment and displaced animals / wildlife.

I think you should follow this up with a happy rabbit haiku. :-(
Hello
O That Haiku is good and touching although it is very sad. Our Haiku Society would have chosen it!
Congratulations on your accepted work!!
I liked it.
And mega-congratulations!
I saw this on twitter and thought it was quite sad. But very poetic :)
They couldn't handle the depth of emotion that a rabbit has.....
Congratulations!
A whole story in so few highly emotional words. Excellent.
congratulations, Juliet! wonderful news.
and I like the rejected haiku -- it's so evocative. makes me wonder if it was her mother; makes me wonder if you scooped her up and took her home.
