rabbit haiku

young rabbit.

a scene from a road in the Scottish Highlands.

I'm delighted that Blithe Spirit, the Journal of the British Haiku Society has just accepted six of my haiku for their next issue! This is one they rejected!

Congrats on the accepted work and thanks for sharing this haiku. It reminds me a bit of one I wrote not long ago when thinking about our changing global environment and displaced animals / wildlife.

Hello

O That Haiku is good and touching although it is very sad. Our Haiku Society would have chosen it!

congratulations, Juliet! wonderful news.

and I like the rejected haiku -- it's so evocative. makes me wonder if it was her mother; makes me wonder if you scooped her up and took her home.

sapphire, Titus, Paul, Roadbunner, Janice, Gillena - thanks!

d.moll - too often bunnies are underestimated aren't they?
