Very appropriate here Juliet as I write this in the midst of a howling gale and a thunderstorm!

Sorry Juliet - must have been the effect of the thunderstorm (still going strong here) - my comment appeared four times, so have deleted three of them. Hope this comment doesn't quadruple too.

I love how this captures a striking moment - how you might have glanced up and caught the silver of the leaves just as a wind was ruffling through them.

So simple yet a well-known image created. Love this Juliet.

I love that. I just experienced that very moment this morning (before I read your haiku). Special, thanks.

Silver maples do this especially. Very nicely done.

I've been thinking of haiku recently.... I think my daughter's interest in all things Japanese has made me re-consider... I used to write them regularly and had a few published in a new defunct small press journal 'bare bones'... thanks for sharing I look forward to reading more of your blog, best wishes Cathy
