One of my favourite birds, the dunnock. They are so neat and tidy and unassuming - they nest in our front garden every year and it is a delight when they bring their young to the bird table.

I imagine these dunnock foraging for seeds or bread crumbs that people drop beneath the bench. Nicely written. Have a great day.

Glad to see the Dunnock getting some appreciation. Usually people just lump them in with the Sparrows even though they behave completely differently.

Dunnock? Nope, don't know the fellow. But probably a fine addition to the under-bench!

What a nice suprise the dunnock is! Glad you added the link to dunnock. Looks a lot like one of the house sparrows that are a bit of a nuisance in New England.
