I love the scent of rain. It falls into the air so thick sometimes. It brings a sense of peace along with it. This is a beautiful haiku Crafty. Have a great night.

The ladybird in your header is just wonderful. So is your haiku. I can smell the rich earthiness of the rain.

Great header pic!

Our big Lynden tree is blooming and is FULL of bees ... endless BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ !!! and VERY fragrant.

And ... we did have some rain the other day and a fine scent it was!

This is great - the scent of rain brings out all the other smells. Colin Tudge says somewhere that earth has a distinctive smell, like rain on sun-baked rock, and just a whiff gets you homesick.

Very nice!

I wish I could see the sun here...today it's just grey and wet...plenty of smell of rain though.

I grew up in a place where the evenings were hot. Your poem is exactly what I remember from then.

Just the words- the scent of rain -bring it all back.
