Transparent

This is made from an extract of a page of Prakalpana Literature, I was once asked to review (thanks to Gerald for reminding me of the journal name) along with a small part of a larger photo, showing the Taj Mahal, a chocolate wrapper from an Indian restuarant, a transparent picture from a rice packet and a random piece of patterned transparent plastic. Currently it is just a collage but i may make it into a card.

I've started saving little pictures, I like to put them on the outside of my outgoing Etsy packages. Right now I have Ronde De Nice seed packet and a fancy chocolate bar wrapper.......I like your new card awfully.

"extract of an Indian literary magazine" -- what does that mean Juliet? and which magazine was that??

btw, To me it seemed very odd for a post card...

You meant post card, right Juliet??

Your postings are so varied, it is interesting :)

wishes,
devika

That would be either Kobisena of Prakalpana Literature. Both are still reviewed in the NHI Review Archives but presumably issues later than and replacing the one you reviewed for me.

I don't think the editor of the experimental magazine would disapprove of your recycling in this way - see http://vattacharjachandan.blogspot.com/

Thanks Gerald, for reminding me of the journal name! Glad you think the editor wouldn't mind! It was an extract from a long piece, so wasn't breaking copyright anyway.

Janice, Weaver - glad its given you ideas...

Diana - I have more little pictures than i know what to do with! They are good to put on packages...

Thanks Julie, I enjoyed taking part

Devika - see Gerald's comments. Greetings card rather than postcard

Nia - thanks

Lovely! I still think you should open an online shop as your creations are too nice to be kept for you only!!!! Lol. Ciao. Antonella

Antonella - I am thinking about it! I'll keep people up to date if I set anything up! But even at the moment my crafts aren't just for me, they're also for my friends and family....

I like the colors and shapes on this one. I've started playing with collage too a bit. Some I send out as postcards to people.
I like the recycling aspect of collage.
