Came to see new ones, Juliet...

I am not very comfortable with this writing prompt business --

To me: if I quote Wordsworth:

"Poetry is the spontaneous overflow of powerful feelings: it takes its origin from emotion recollected in tranquility: the emotion is contemplated till, by a species of reaction, the tranquility gradually disappears, and an emotion, kindred to that which was the subject of contemplation, is gradually produced, and does itself actually exist in the mind."

It should not be a play of words with a word prompt, dear Juliet...

Devika, well prompts aren't for anyone but some people find them very useful and Read Write Poem is very popular.

Thanks, shall try that.

I understand and appreciate, Juliet...

I was just offering my reason to you query ---
"Why not take part?" :)

Frankly speaking, I am not a poet Juliet...I only write when emotions build to that level as Wordsworth said :)

More often its a release for me :)

I love reading poetry -- all kind, though those emotion-filled ones appeal most...

My Grandad used to speak Lanky dialect. I wish I had a recording of his voice as there are so few true speakers left. Pity.
