collage for Japanese Inn

I made this collage from an old Japanese postcard, a scrap taken from a Japanese poetry journal and a photo of my childhood Japanese penpal. It's currently sitting in the copy of Oliver Statler's wonderful Japanese Inn that I'm reading. I suspect that neither book or collage will actually leave my possession.....

Hello,

This is my first visit to your blog, I can see that you are fortunate to live in a very beautiful part of the world. My family and I have made many journeys to the borders and the Highlands and each time we visit we find something new, discover some wonderful scenery, or rare bird, or historic woodland. Your beautiful photographs are reminding me of our Scottish adventures! Thanks also for visiting my blog and for your kind comments.

I love your little Japanese collage.

Your collage is extremely attractive, simple but appealing.

Is it the time of year? I fell into some "paper crafts" last evening. Cool collage - lovely idea.

Very nice, Juliet. And I like the look your blog has taken on since I've been away.

I love all things Japanese(except their stance on whaling). This is exquisite. I couldn't part with it either!
