Eucalyptus Bark

We have a eucalyptus in our garden. Its beautiful if a little scary because its growing so quickly. It was a twig when we moved in five years ago and now its towering over everything else. I love its little red leaves that fall from among the green in the middle of summer - like its dictating its own autumn.

Ah, is it a paper bark or maybe a majestic grey gum, beautiful trees to touch, you can feel the life miving through them with the palm of you hand,

That's like our arbutus trees here - they shed their bark and are very very smooth...and a rich red in color
