A short random list of some of my unforgettable moments with nature
Watching the sunset over Lake Malawi
canoeing through the Okavango Delta
standing in front of Victoria Falls
red squirrels dancing towards us as we walk through pine woods
a fox stealing our sandwiches in the Royal Botanic Gardens
red legged choughs off sea cliffs in Wales
a humming bird hawkmoth on buddleia in Edinburgh
humming birds on feeders in California
a kingfisher flying across the red canal
the moon turning orange during lunar eclipse
an electric storm over the Mediterranean Sea

Yep, all wonderful things.....though I didn't click on the moth (that would mean nightmares).
A really original post. Kept me busy for ages!
Juliet,
I so agree, nature provides us with unlimmited ,unforgettale moments.

Jo - but if you saw that moth it looks just like a humming bird! No nightmares!
Keith - glad it kept you busy!
Remiman - absolutely, I could have written amuch longer post.
Thanks for the reminder that nature provides so many moments.
Oh that was beautiful...every moment with nature is unforgettable and precious. Thank you.

Wonderful! Love the listing of unforgettables...and the links!
Oh lovely unforgettable moments about gorgeous places and animals.
You've been AROUND!
this was WAY cool!
Wonderful concept. Multidimensional text. Words contain images. Kinda like the craft/text you showed us in the gallery. Supercool.
oh I Love this post - I think youve inspired me to think of some of mine too!! wow I love this! I certainly enjoyed reading through yours and kind of mentally running my hand across the globe!
All wonderful things to remember even if the moment might be brief.
I thought I was fairly well traveled. You have been to some breathtakingly beautiful places.
Lovely posts, as usual. I'm a crow fan (as you know from my blog), but I hadn't actually heard of choughs. I've never been to the British Isles (despite 1/2 of my ancestry originating there) and have been feeling overdue for a visit for some time. Now, I have choughs as another reason to get me there....
unforgettably creative!
Truly unforgettable...
:-)
you're very lucky to have seen such beautiful things, and just as lucky that you notice and value them so much (not everyone does you know, many people don't seem to 'see' nature at all, incredibly!)
have a good day
The first line did it for me. I knew then what the poem meant. Cool stuff...
This list is wonderful. So simple and filled with so many memories. Excellent take on the topic.
Nature truly is unforgettable. I like your handling of the topic.
