That first one strikes me as an especially good one because of its simplicity on the surface. I read through it and nod, "yes, yes, I see that," and then the image comes into my mind just as the snow melting reveals that flower.
I can't get my head going on this prompt yet. I hope it will come to me.
Juliet, This is really scary; Just before I clicked to your page I thought to myself, "I think Juliet will describe crocus." I liked the promise foretold in both your haiku. rel

A lovely haiku palette
I love haikus and specially your colour haikus. I can see the blue sky and the crokus.
Wonderful!

Ooooo, I love them both! The last one spoke to me particularly well, though. The green carpet, I think.
You paint a colorful carpet here. Thanks. :)
What is a celandine?
Juliet,

stars falling on a carpet; what an interesting thought!
Those crocus sure are hopeful!
I loved both hiakus!
lovely, especially the first one!
I really love the first one. So simple and so beautiful.
Beautiful spring images!
A perfect picture of the colors of spring.
Lovely~ as always!
...this was very nice. You painted a perfect picture with your Haiku's.
I can see the colors of your haiku. Lovely, as usual.
I love the surprise of the crocus. Every year it's like the first time I've ever seen them.
For me the strength of these is in the contrast you create of one colour among another. Very visual.
So vibrant!
Your haiku speaks so much of the promise of spring. I especially love the vision of fallen stars.
Nice images of spring to come; I like the "fallen stars in a carpet..."
Thanks for all your comments.
Brian (and anyone else who's wondering) a celandine is a small yellow star like flower that comes out in Scotland usually at the end of February.
Remiman, that's funny, I was writing about crocuses even before i saw the prompt...
These are really lovely!
Wonderful Haiku! I could picture them both in my mind, and they are very colorful.
i love the imagery of the second one. pieces of stars falling onto green carpet. nicely done.
these haiku are truly a work of art...just incredible!
you captured spring in a handful of words...i can almost smell it
Makes me long for spring. No crocus here yet. Not even snowdrops.
