Autumn Colour and Fungi along the Water of Leith

I was pleased to find these fungi in Craiglockart Dells, alongside the Water of Leith.

Oyster fungi

Purple Disc Fungi

The autumn colours are still beautiful, although most of the leaves have fallen from many of the trees, we've had some high winds in the past couple of weeks.

The light was beautiful too, giving the leaves a wonderful glow.

Thanks Jenn, yes it's very warm here, unseasonably warm for the time of year (though we rarely get as cold as Ontario, it's usually quite a bit colder than it currently is.)

What a lovely discovery in Craiglockart Dells! The oyster and purple disc fungi must have added such charm to the autumn scenery. The glow of the fallen leaves in the light sounds magical. How is Saturday going? Read my new post. Thank you.(https://www.melodyjacob.com/2024/11/holiday-glam-budget-christmas-outfit-ideas.html)
