Tulip shadows

I was fascinated by the tulip shadows in my parents' garden last weekend, both inside the flowers and on the new paving stones on the upper part of the garden.

(the photo above is available to purchase as a digital download in the Crafty Green Poet Etsy ahop).

Of course, for shadows we need sunshine Juliet - and it has been a sunny day here today - wish I had thought of taking a few shadow shots as it is set to rain tomorrow.

I love the look of this ruby tulip - in glorious color and in monochrome shadow too. Spring has sprung, and the last vestiges of the previous winter are gone. Warmer days are here!

Tulips are my favourite flowers. One of the reasons why I would love to visit Holland one day. :-)

Great images. Many thanks.

Greetings from London.

Oh, I was expecting red shadows, since the tulips are red. Silly me! ;)
