Primroses

Primroses in the grounds of Hopetoun House, Dalmeny , West Lothian which we visited 
for the RSPB's Scottish Birdfair this weekend.

Love them! Our primroses are early spring plants and just yesterday I put a dozen of them, that we had in porch pots for the spring, out into the ground for more blooming next early spring!!!

Wonderful sign of spring -- primroses were the first flowers that would bloom when we lived in Oregon. (Here in Florida, there are no usual spring flowers -- it's too hot!)
