I recently received an email from an agency claiming to be an international blogging award. Apparently this award is a scam so I've removed all mention of the award from this blog. However, thanks everyone for your nice comments saying how much I deserve an award!

I too congratulate your blog - I hope the award is real .. there is quite a bit of Internet chatter about this outfit, their motives, etc. A very new effort. Not at all well understood yet.

Always beware of awards from people/organisations you've never heard of. Google their name and you'll find it is a scam.
Shame because you DO deserve an award but these people don't appear to deserve the publicity they get as a result of their dubious award.
I haven't yet come across anything like this. A horrible trick. Thank you for making us aware of this scam. Your writings do deserve a reward. x
