Juliet that is such a lovely 'haiku' (?) and I have my little poser every morning saying hi and thanks to me!

and my goodness those icicles really are something - had no idea we got that type of winterscape down here!

Rasins? Didn't know they liked them.

in the summer we have chipmunks and the occasional squirrel who eat the peanuts we leave for them to store in their winter stashes. in the winter we leave vegetables for the bunnies. a lovely haiku. steven

How beautiful! We have a fat red squirrel who will eat out of my hand. He stands on his hind legs and curls his arm under (as if it is hurting) when he begs. There's nothing wrong with him. I'm convinced it's a ploy to sucker me into giving him more peanuts. It works, because I do. Your poem makes me smile!

Makes me smile. They are so charismatic. We have one that sits on the fence outside the kitchen window. She is always there when we wash-up and looks at us as if to say 'you losers, I just eat and go, no washing-up'!
