rusty gate -

i'm particularly drawn to this poem as today I took some pictures of a black and yellow garden spider. she's beautiful if one can say that about a spider. have a great night.

Jasmine- the haiku is a form of poetry, originating in Japan. There are many school of thoughts about wexactly what constitutes a haiku - but my favourite definition is the one on Brooks Books - scroll down the homepage a little to read it.

Good one. I like the sense of the gate supporting the spider and the spider in some way weaving together the aging gate.re

A timely read. I was wiping down the window frames today and ended up missing out a whole section because I would have to have damaged two enormous garden spiders' webs, one of which was just about to start dining...
