Resolution

high resolution -
the unknown bird in the bush
becomes a brambling


the brambling is one of the birds I most want to see every winter

we have a number of chaffinches here but i don't think i've seen bramblings...

Your poem caused a flashback - a cardinal on a branch from the corner of my eye. Split-second stuff.
