The Highlands were certainly in bloom when we were there!
okay this first one isn't a flower, it's Blechnum spicant my favourite fern.
lots of boggy areas are full of cottongrass, which looks a bit like bunny tails
thrift both above and below, where it's joined by what I think is a hawkweed (I didn't check and can't tell from the photo).

What a delicate, pretty fern.
That does look like a hawkbit/weed.
Beautiful! I have never heard of cottongrass. Neat! And it does look like bunny tails.
what a great variety of flowers/ ferns. hope all is well.
Those ferns are particularly attractive. And I always love the Bog Cotton ... will always think of it as bunny tails now!
I love the ferns too and all the wildflowers. Gorgeous images. I have been playing catch on your trip. What a great time, looks like a beautiful place to visit. Have a great weekend!
Interesting rock striations, especially the first photo!
I had no idea that thrift grew in Scotland! We grow it here, too, but call it "sea pinks". Lovely!
I love seeing wildflowers. You spotted some beautiful ones. Ferns are also very beautiful. Mine are parched by the heat at the moment.
