Off to Montrose

We're going away for a few days to Montrose. We'll be doing some birdwatching at Montrose Basin and then I'm reading at this poetry event, as organised by Rachel who blogs here.

When we get back I'll make my decisions about the environmental writing e-learning course (see this post for more information). So this is your last chance to express interest, and if you have expressed interest already, I'll be in touch soon!

Hey, give me a shout if you want to go for a walk some time before the poetry event on Friday (or after...at the weekend). There's a lovely walk up near where I live too. And you must walk down to the lighthouse if you have time (from Ferryden). So many lovely walks up here.

I'm driving up with Anna on the Friday afternoon, but I have to get back that night, as I've got a stall at the Fife Bookfest on Saturday.

Have a fantastic time, it's a weird and wonderful place, and you'll be great on Thursday night!
Best wishes for a brilliant evening (though I'm sure it will be) and so sorry I can't be there, but husband/shifts thing.
