They've been lining on the telegraph wires for a couple of weeks around here. I wonder how much longer we'll be able to enjoy them.
I am not seeing swallows like I used to. Like so many other birds, we herald the coming, but often don't notice when they slip away.This is a very peaceful haiku.

too bad summers over
ah, it is that time, and your words take me there.
