Obviously taken before last night's storms - fields are a quagmire now although it has been mild today.

trees provide some of the best shadows we can find - moving shadows are the best.

Gerals - no it was today.....

Moe - I agree, I love watchign tree shadows move...

These trees are tall in their vertical state. The horizontal shadows are 'taller' than the trees it seems. As well, the shadows and manicured grounds are stunning, the light and dark settling on the green wonderfully!

It looks like some architectonic shape...hard to believe it's a tree!

I love the fact that I get glimpses of other people's daily views. It's almost as though I was there.
Love this tree shadow! They seem like giants.

I like those long shadows. I guess the photographer's shadow is hiding in the tree shadow. Clever.

Even in shadow you can see their arms reaching for the sky!
Nice shot!

Fantastic! Your tree shadow a little bit reminds me of the shadow of "Daddy- Long-Legs", my favourite story in childhood.

The photos in the previous post are so beautiful! What a lovely place!

Trees have great shadows with different shapes. Like the green grass and the fallen leaves on it. Have a happy weekend.

Diane AZ said...

After losing all those leaves the tree is a mere, but lovely, shadow of its former self. Nice capture!

Marvelous tree shadows.

I really like the way the shadows are slim and simple up to the tangle at the top. Very different!

Interesting shot because you managed to hide your own shadow!

Wow, you're crafting many posts this year, and you've been blogging for four years! That's inspiring!

Keep up the great work!

The shadows of the tree limbs look like arms holding up the rest of the green field.

Wonderful shadows ~ almost look like people walking across the grass, somehow.

Nice shadows. I like shade on a hot day, although I doubt it was hot when you took this!
Thanks for the visit!
