CD Case Desk Calendar
I made this calendar from an old CD case. The pages are made from plain white offcuts from used office paper with pictures from magazines and the calendar months cut from the 2008 planner section of this year's diary. The case then can be reused for a 2009 calendar! Making calendars and diaries early means I'm not tempted to buy them out of laziness later in the year.

Wow Juliet, what a wonderful idea, as well as blog! Looking forward to more.
What a great idea I think I will try it.
I've never seen this idea before - how creative and novel and green at the same time. Nothing is wasted! I am going to try making one too. Can you make a month at a time with pic and put that in the display bit? Great idea.
This looks really cool, Crafty! And it's a great idea to do it now -- the months are racing by so fast. New calendars can be so expensive -- and wasteful too. I like to recycle photos from old calendars and stick them up on my bathroom wall for decoration.
:)
I gotta tell you--I am amazed by your initiative to make recyclable everything. I wish I had this kind of inspiration. Somehow, its just not part of my make-up. . ..
Juliet, a great idea.
Clever!
what a great idea!
What a clever idea, would be great for me to do for my family as gifts! Thanks for visiting my blog!
Steve - thanks!
Lee - If you do make one, I look forward to seeing it!
garden girl - yes you can make a month at a time with a pic!
clare - yes I like to recycle pics from old calendars too - I've used them in greetings cards sometimes.
andrea - once you start thinking about what you can reuse, recycle, almost anything can be reused!
Marcia, Ascender, Dawn, Paperback Writer - thanks!
I absolutely love this idea! Don't have a calendar for 2008 yet, so I will definitely be making one.
