A Moment

Sunlight bright on the folly on the hill
vivid rainbow against a slate grey sky
people gather on the street below
taking photos on their mobile phones.

A rainbow would be something nice to capture on my camera as I haven't seen one for awhile. Nice poem. Hope all is well.

Nice image of that follow Juliet - why do we always want to capture a rainbow on film I wonder?

Great juxtaposition of images.....very now and yet eternal.

hello juliet, i think that people like to be inside magic. even if it has a rational explanation - a folly is a sort of fantasy, a magical place, recreating something and a rainbow is a magical thing even though it's grounded in reality of a sort. the bridge of your poem taking people who are caught in digital moment embrace as compared to their analogue ancestors is lovely. steven

I probably would too with my camera though as I don't own a cell phone.
Love the image presented.

From the sublime to the mundane. Good one!

Rabbits' Guy, they could also be posted on blogs (like this one) or Flickr…

Beautiful. Perfectly captured moment.

I think a few well crafted words can capture a moment so much more effectively than any number of photos.
