Spotted for 30 Days Wild

Seen recently in our local cemeteries

raindrops on herb bennet (wood avens) 
 
7 spot ladybird in cocksfoot grass.

  2. I didn’t know there were different kinds of ladybugs based on the number of spots. Off to google to read up on that! And definitely going to count the spots on the next one I see.

    Sallie - yes here in the UK we have several different species with different numbers of spots, though entertainingly the two spot ladybird can have a greater number of spots than just 2.
