Nice. Your mum will love it. I love that you repurposed materials. I do that too, with litter. Makes it much more creative, don't you think, to find something and think about how to recycle/UPcycled it? Good for you. Showing love to your mother and the planet! Sharon
Well...my mum is in a nursing home now, she is not bad but she is losing her memory, she is 89. You remind me of a time in which there were great celebrations for the Mum's Day here in Italy when I was a child in the early 60's...there was a famous TV show where children sang...I associate all this with the first hints of spring, the sun acquiring force, the bright stage of the year advancing...Best wishes Mums..
Such a lovely card! Since this will be my first mother's day (ours is in May) without my mum, perhaps I'll make some cards to take to the nursing home across the street. It would be fun to make the cards, and I suspect the administrators could tell me of a few ladies who might like to get them.

ReplyDeleteI love this type of collage, and yours turned out beautifully. Your Mum will love it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful card, Juliet, and the thought that has gone into producing it. Love the tulip arrangement and fall of stalks, too.
ReplyDeleteHow much nicer to receive a home made card than a shop bought one.
ReplyDeleteGreat card. Your Mum is sure to love it. Our Mothers Day is in May. I'll see what I can make for my Mum by then.
ReplyDeleteQuite nice. Handmade cards seem so much more special.

ReplyDeleteI would bet that this is not the first lovingly crafted Mother's Day card your mom has received from you!
ReplyDeleteYou are so talented! I may copy your idea, if you don't mind.
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful! I know your Mum will love it.
ReplyDeleteLucky Mum!
