ironically this lovely lily, the bulbs a gift when I left my last job, is going to be at its best, while we're away! Just one flower out now and it smells wonderful.....

What type of lily is this? You mentioned the fragrance. I am familiar with one called "Star Gazer" that looks like the one in the photo. I'm not sure if this is the name of a particular variety or of the species. I should look that up! At any rate, the blossoms are huge and the fragrance fills the room. I've been hoping to get some planted this summer. In the meantime, I will enjoy your photo.
